Students are invited to participate in a variety of events at Center Stage. All of these are optional for the student.
We participate in three area parades with a marching unit for older students, usually school age and a float in the Southern Rowan Christmas Parade for younger students.
A holiday ballet is performed in December. All students participating in a ballet class are invited to perform. Preschool classes ages 3 and 4 do not participate in this show.
An end of the year recital is given in mid-June. All students are invited to participate in this show. Preschool students perform one number and most other students perform two numbers in the show. All students use one costume for this show ranging from $60-$69 usually, including tights if needed, and any accessories. If you purchase the shoes listed for you on the shoe list at the beginning of the year, these are the shoes your dancer will need for all classes and the end of the year show.
Parents are invited in twice each year, once in the fall and once in the spring to observe all classes and see your dancer's progress.
